Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a Steve Howdle fashion photography course in Harrogate, Yorkshire. Steve is an amazing photographer and specialises in capturing hair and beauty for the top companies in the UK. If you have ever wanted to attend a fashion photography course then Steve is your man. He is very inspiring and definitely got my creative juices flowing. Another photographer attending the course whose work I thought was awesome is Steve Townsend. Check out his panoramic images! Last night Krista and Niklas came over for dinner. Thank you to Krista for making a very tasty king prawn Caesar salad. I was able to take a few photos after dinner, as I was testing my new Canon 580ex II speedlight off camera and a few Photoshop actions. We had a great night and looking forward to it again very soon.

Yesterday I photographed Susan, Keith and baby Zilki at Nottingham Castle. Zilki is a beautiful little human being who was having so much fun modelling for the camera. I'm really looking forward to photographing Susan and Keith's wedding on May 11th at Woodborough Hall.

Last night I was in Leeds attending an Andrea Barrett seminar. We walked around Leeds with our super cool models Mark and Gemma looking to create images with street and video lights. We all had a great time and it was inspiring to hang out with all my fellow photographers for the night. Despite the cold temperatures we got some great images. I want to thank Mark and Gemma for posing in the cold weather and Andrea for hosting a superb seminar. Check out a few of my favourites.

Yesterday I treated myself and assistant Emma to a seminar hosted by award winning photographer Andrea Barrett. We had a great day along with the other 30 + attendees learning new tricks for the bag. It was great to catch up with fellow professionals and also to see so many eager beginners wanting to pursue wedding photography. I find it very inspiring to attend seminars hosted by other professional photographers, as it seems to keep the creative juices flowing! I'm attending 4 seminars this year all over the country put on by other professional photographers I highly respect. I get emails all the time asking when I'm going to host a seminar and yes it's in the pipeline but when I'm not sure. Stay tuned!

Emma and I had a great day photographing the wedding of Tracey and Dave at Branston Hall in Lincolnshire. Even though most of the day we were fighting the weather (rain, hail, snow and sunshine) the day couldn't have gone any better. You guys are super cool and we wish you all the best.
