Welcome to my blog! Although "Crash Taylor" would seem appropriate for an unlucky Formula 1 driver it does underline my goal, to CRASH the boundaries of the mundane and boring in wedding photography. As a result, I strive to capture those priceless moments shared by my clients, their families and guests on the magnificent day dedicated to their love and lifetime commitment.
This blog is a pictorial journal of my daily journey in my professional and private life. As such it is a scenic mélange of my travels, with highlights from the portraits of clients, friends and family as well as the landscapes and weddings that I shoot. You could call it my own private digital photo album. It is my hope that this blog will provide vital insight to current and potential clients and maybe even inspire other photographers.

Friday Emma and I were in London to photograph the wedding of Wei and Simon. We started the day photographing Wei getting ready at her house in Wimbledon. Then it was onto the church before heading off to a famous Chinese restaurant in the heart of central London. The food was superb! It was a great day, Wei and Simon are so in love. Thanks for everything, Emma and I had a great time.

I love this photo of my brother and I in Mexico. The camera around my neck was a present from my parents. I had it with me the whole trip and loved how you could take a photo and it would come out the bottom. Polaroid’s ROCKED! I guess you could call it my first National Geographic photo adventure :-)
My fondest memories from that trip was Dorado fishing with my Dad and watching a crew member cut the Dorado into filets, which we later barbequed. Also, thinking my Mum was going to get eaten by a shark when actually it was a big dolphin.
Yesterday I was in Lichfield, Staffordshire with Jo and Ben who are getting married on the 8th August 2008. We had a great time on the farm shooting the engagement session. There was so many cool locations that I could have spent all day there. The wedding is going to be perfect, really looking forward to it. Here are a some images from the shoot. Saturday Emma and I were at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire photographing the wedding of Marisa and Jason. I have to say this place rocks! The film Secret Garden was filmed on location at the castle. It was a great day, it rained during bridal preparation and the ceremony but as soon as Marisa and Jason were announced husband and wife the sun started to shine. I love when that happens! It was extremely windy but beautiful and we got all the outdoor photos we needed. It was a great day and Emma and I were glad to be part of it.

Saturday Emma and I headed to Colwick Hall to photograph the wedding of Emma and Andy. What a cool couple who love to have fun. Have a great time on honeymoon and will speak to you soon. Saturday I'm photographing the wedding of Marisa and Jason at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire. Yesterday, they came down to Nottingham for there engagement shoot. We spent a fun hour at Nottingham Castle and I can't wait for Saturday guys, it's going to be an amazing wedding.
