Naomi and Andrew

Today was a good day. I was in Ratcliffe on the Wreake taking Naomi and Andrew's engagement portraits. The photos were captured at Naomi's parents house, which will be the location of the wedding reception. The marquee will be in the garden and the church is only a 5 minute walk away. Both locations are absolutely stunning and I can't wait to photograph their special day.

Check out all the photos by watching the slide show below. The Bentley photo worked guys and looks awesome. See you soon.

A Family Day

Yesterday I spent the day photographing the Daniels family, who are the coolest family in Nottinghamshire. I put together a slide show of SOME of my favourites. You guys are going to have trouble choosing because there are over 200 beautiful photos in the gallery. As always, looking forward to the next one.

Nottinghamshire Today

This will be my new ad for Nottinghamshire Today, which I plan on running for six months. It's a great magazine and previous ads have done well. I don't do any other print advertising as most of my business is referrals from past clients and businesses that I work with. The next several months I'm extremely busy with weddings and engagement shoots, so stay tuned for some real cool stuff.

A quote from Martin Barnes:

"Photography touches our emotions with it's ability to freeze time and place...it makes us aware of our inability to witness everything we might wish to during our own comparatively fleeting lives"

I captured this moment in August 2007 at Nottingham Castle. I used my Canon 5D on aperture priority, shutter speed 1/400 at F2.8. Lens was the Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS, which is my favourite portrait lens. A Canon 580ex was set up off camera for some fill.
