Welcome to my blog! Although "Crash Taylor" would seem appropriate for an unlucky Formula 1 driver it does underline my goal, to CRASH the boundaries of the mundane and boring in wedding photography. As a result, I strive to capture those priceless moments shared by my clients, their families and guests on the magnificent day dedicated to their love and lifetime commitment.
This blog is a pictorial journal of my daily journey in my professional and private life. As such it is a scenic mélange of my travels, with highlights from the portraits of clients, friends and family as well as the landscapes and weddings that I shoot. You could call it my own private digital photo album. It is my hope that this blog will provide vital insight to current and potential clients and maybe even inspire other photographers.

The Nottingham Wedding Photographers Association
Last month I entered the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers photographic competition. I submitted these two images, which both won GOLD awards. One for the bridal portraiture category and the other for the pictorial category. The bridal portrait was taken at a wedding I photographed in Spain and the pictorial shot was taken when I was visiting my mum in Malibu, California last year.
